In line with Davao Digital Influencers’ mission to help promote the socio-cultural and tourism agenda of Davao City, we recently participated as a resource entity at the National Association of Independent Travel Agencies – Davao Chapter (NAITAS-Davao) Travel and Trade Show held at Abreeza Ayala Mall on February 3-5, 2017.
The three day event was participated by various travel agencies highlighting the best travel deals to local and international destinations. A good list of services and local products of Davao Region and Mindanao were also showcased at the event.
DDI participated to share talk on Travel and Food Blogging for beginners. Glen Santillan, the organization’s president talked about Travel blogging, the perks, the dos and don’ts of flying it. Verna Luga, the group’s VP shared about how to start a food blog and what every beginner need to know when publishing a blog. Blogging ethics and accountabilities were also shared during the workshop.
It was well attended by mostly Tourism students who were eager to learn and hopeful to share their travel/food stories and experiences through their future blogs.
DDI also joined the exhibitor’s appreciation night held at Pantawan Hall of Grand Regal Casino Hotel, Bajada, Davao City.
