dusitD2Davao signed the Memorandum of Agreement with Emilia Sitjar Jewellery and Davao Fashion Design Council (DFDC) for the Dusit Charity Gala on November 12. The fundraising event is for the benefit of SOS Children’s Village International – Davao.
Present at the MOA signing were Dusit Thani Hotels and Resort General Manager Christoph Kuch, Dusit’s Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing Leilani Merilo, Emilia Sitjar Jewellery Managing Director Emil Sitjar, DFDC President Dodjie Batu, Fashion and Event Director Jackie Aquino, and SOS Youth Social Worker Daimler Demeterio. During the MOA signing, members of the DFDC and key participants for the events were also present.
On November 11, there will be a series of fashion masterclasses, a private jewelry show, and a fashion display leading to the Dusit Charity Gala night on November 12. The gala night will highlight a fashion show of the creations of the members of the Davao Fashion Design Council and the special spring collection of Emilia Sitjar Jewellerey which will be directed by no other than Jackie Aquino.
The Charity Gala fundraising ticket is available at Php 8000 per person or Php 76,000 per table. The ticket includes a fine dining meal highlighting the Thai dishes of Banjarong Davao; and a chance to win special a prize from the DFDC and Emilia Sitjar Jewellerey. Proceeds of the fundraising will be donated to SOS Village International – Davao.
