Trust is something that we look into consideration when it comes to dealing with people. You don’t normally just deal with any other people but rather, you find someone who understands your background and situation and most importantly someone who is knowledgeable about the subject on hand.
Dealing with life insurance is no difference. In fact, the more that we should actually find someone trustworthy and knowledgeable enough for us to know more about the advantages and risks of dealing with life insurance and investments.
A week ago, some members of Davao Digital Influencers, Inc. had a chance to meet some of the sales team of FWD Life Insurance. Pia is one of the wonderful people we met during the meeting.
Maria Theresa Pia Zamora or simply Pia is an Area Sales Head of FWD Life Insurance Philippines. She currently manages FWD’s Bancassurance sales operations in Davao.
Pia is a graduate of BA Communication Arts major in Speech Communication from the University of the Philippines Mindanao. She previously worked as a Sales Trainer from another insurance company where she handled licensing training for newly-hired financial advisors and monitored their sales performance to ensure monthly sales target are reached.
From training, Pia is now on the frontline dealing directly with prospective clients. To her, there was not much difficulty in the transformation since she was actually doing it before. The only difference now is she’s dealing with high net-worth clients instead of trainees. She’s in fact more challenged with her new role as an Area Sales Head.
Pia’s most fulfilling transaction so far just happened recently when she closed a deal on the same day. It was a challenging transaction because the family was really close minded so she had a hard time convincing the client to believe in insurance. But, with their team’s presentation, they were able to persuade her to invest with FWD.
With FWD Life Insurance, Pia felt more secured. As a single mom, she believes that FWD can give her and her daughter a brighter future. She said that FWD is true to its tagline to always get ready to live your life. She added that, there’s always pressure in work in any industry but at the end of the day, what’s more important is when she’s able to help people with an informed decision.
